The only change I would suggest is one of the cucumber was a little thick and distracted from the whole favor profile. It sounded interesting and I was not disappointed. Encrusted Ahi on a cucumber slice with a seaweed salad garnish. The Rodrigue Cajun Quesadilla was interesting but not the best item we tried. The red sauce was just normal BBQ sauce and wasn't vey good with it. A few were a bit chewy so they could have been pulled from the fryer 30 seconds sooner. I would never have thought of that but the pieces were cooked nicely. We began with Dali Calamari with to kinds of BBQ. I was given a gift certificate for here, or I may have never discovered The Artful Gourmet Bistro. I will absolutely go back when in the area. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. Also, I forgot to get a receipt (which was needed for expenses), and the staff went above & beyond, leaving a note for the manager, who called me the next day and sent me the receipt via email. When ordering takeout, the host and others were efficient & friendly (joking with me about my attire, which featured the logo of a rival of the local team). When we ate in, our waiter was very attentive and friendly. ![]() ![]() My colleagues have tried other dishes as well, and all were enjoyed greatly. This is not my favorite dish at this restaurant. It was delicious and very filling as well. I counted over 15 mussels, and the shrimp/clams were plentiful as well. Typically you get a lot of rice and chicken in these dishes (at other places), but that is not the case at the Artful Gourmet. * Last Supper - This is paella, and OH MY GOD, it is the best paella I have ever had. Again, the smashed potatoes were great, as was the vegetable. * Picasso - This is the 10-ounce filet, and it was AMAZING! It was cooked to perfection (medium rare in my case), tender, and so flavorful. They were fantastic, and I wasn't disappointed! The smashed potatoes were great as well. I don't typically order lamb chops, but one of my colleagues highly recommended them, so I went for it. the following dishes, and I highly recommend every one: I ate here pre-pandemic, and have gotten takeout twice since, and I can't recommend this place enough. I have visited the Artful Gourmet Bistro on numerous occasions, and the food has been incredible every time.
